Why is my LG WT7100C making a vibrating noise?
    • S
      Scott DavisSep 4, 2025
If your LG washer is making a vibrating noise, make sure all packaging materials have been removed. Also, an unevenly distributed wash load in the drum can cause vibration; pause the cycle and redistribute the load after the lid unlocks. Ensure all leveling feet are resting firmly and evenly on the floor. Finally, check that the floor is solid and doesn't flex.

What to do if my LG WT7100C Washer shows OE WATER OUTLET ERROR?
    • R
      Robert HarrisSep 18, 2025
If your LG washer shows an OE WATER OUTLET ERROR, it could be due to a kinked, pinched, or clogged drain hose. Make sure that the drain hose is free of clogs or kinks and is not pinched behind or under the washer. Also, ensure that the end of the drain hose is not more than 96 inches (2.4 m) above the bottom of the washer; if it is, reposition the end of the drain hose lower.

Why is my LG WT7100C prematurely dispensing bleach?
    • C
      Curtis SkinnerSep 16, 2025
If your LG washer is prematurely dispensing bleach, remember that you cannot store bleach in the dispenser for future use, as it will be dispensed every load. Also, overfilling the bleach dispenser will cause the bleach to dispense immediately, which will damage the laundry or the washer. Always measure bleach, but never fill above the max line on the dispenser.

Why is bleach not dispensing in my LG WT7100C Washer?
    • R
      robinsonbarbaraSep 14, 2025
If bleach does not dispense in your LG washer, make sure that the bleach cover is properly installed and snapped into place before the beginning of the cycle. Also, lift out the bleach dispenser cover and clean out the reservoir. Lint and other foreign debris that collects in the inside the dispenser may prevent proper dispensing of the bleach.

Why is my LG WT7100C making a banging noise when filling with water?
    • T
      Tonya WhiteSep 12, 2025
If your LG washer is making a banging noise when filling with water (water hammer), it is not caused by a defect in the washer. Install water hammer arrestors (purchased separately at hardware or home improvement store) between the fill hose and the washer for best results. Also, adjust household water supply regulator to a lower pressure or contact a plumber.

How to stop excessive sudsing in LG WT7100C?
    • C
      Cynthia HughesSep 9, 2025
If you're experiencing excessive sudsing in your LG washer, it may be due to using too much or the incorrect detergent. Use only HE detergents, which are specifically formulated for High-Efficiency washers and contain suds-reducing agents. For detergent quantities refer to the Detergent Use section. If sudsing or detergent residue continue to be an issue, add an extra rinse.

How to fix rattling noise in LG Washer?
    • B
      Benjamin VazquezSep 7, 2025

What to do if my LG Washer is leaking water?
    • K
      kelseyanthonySep 5, 2025
If your LG washer is leaking water, check hoses and connectors for leaks, cracks, and splits, and tighten hose connections. If house drain pipes are clogged, check for water backing up out of the drain pipe during drain. If water is seen coming out of the drain, check for proper drain hose installation and check for restrictions in the drain. Tie drain hose to inlet hose or standpipe to prevent it from coming out during drain. Use the Bedding cycle for large or bulky items and make sure the load does not crest above the top edge of the tub. Also, oversudsing may create leaks, and may be caused by the type and amount of detergent used.

Why my LG Washer will not turn on?
    • Z
      zimmermandonaldAug 21, 2025
The LG washer may not turn on if the power cord isn't properly plugged into a grounded, 3-prong outlet. Ensure it's securely plugged in. Also, a blown house fuse, tripped circuit breaker, or a power outage can prevent the washer from turning on. Reset the circuit breaker or replace the fuse. If it's a circuit overload, have it corrected by an electrician.
