  If your LG washer isn't operating, first, ensure the control panel isn't powered off due to inactivity by pressing the Power button. Check that the power cord is securely plugged into the electrical outlet. Make sure both hot and cold water faucets are fully turned on. Verify the cycle is set correctly, the lid is closed properly (with nothing preventing complete closure), and then press the Start/Pause button.

  The IE INLET ERROR on your LG washer can occur for several reasons. First, ensure that the water supply faucets are fully open and that the water inlet hoses are not kinked, pinched, or crushed. Check the water inlet filters for clogs and clean them if necessary. Also, verify that the water supply pressure to the faucet is adequate by checking another faucet in the house. Disconnect the water inlet hoses and flush them out to remove any dirt. Avoid using leak-limiting hoses. Finally, ensure the end of the drain hose is higher than 29.5 inches above the bottom of the washer.

Also, check if the bleach dispenser is dirty or clogged; if so, lift out the bleach dispenser cover and clean out the reservoir.

  If your LG appliance and smartphone are not connecting to the Wi-Fi network, first ensure that the Wi-Fi password you are using is correct. Try removing the Wi-Fi network connected to your smartphone and reconnect through LG ThinQ. Turn off mobile data on your smartphone and connect using the Wi-Fi network. The wireless network name (SSID) should be a combination of English letters and numbers. Only a 2.4 GHz router frequency is supported.
