Why is the wireless heart rate not working on my Life Fitness X1?

The wireless heart rate on your Life Fitness Elliptical Trainer might not be working due to several reasons: 1. The wireless heart rate might be turned OFF in the Settings Menu. Check the Settings Menu and ensure that WIRELESS HR is turned ON. 2. There may be poor contact between the telemetry heart rate strap and your skin. 3. Electrical interference from appliances like fluorescent lights or kitchen appliances could be interfering with the telemetry heart rate strap. Try moving the Elliptical Trainer to a different location or move electrical appliances away from it. 4. The battery in the Heart Rate Telemetry Strap might need replacing. The battery type is a CR2032 (3V).
