  First, ensure the AC adapter is correctly plugged into both a surge protector and the machine itself, and that the surge protector is functional. Inspect the AC adapter's wire for any signs of damage. If you're setting up the unit, check the computer wire for pinching or disconnections from the plastic connector. If the unit has been in use, verify that the computer wire hasn't become disconnected; try unplugging and reconnecting it. If problems persist after checking these, the computer console or AC adapter might need replacement.

  First, check that all computer cables are properly connected. Try pushing the reset button several times or unplug and reconnect the AC adapter to reset the computer. Check if the unit's resistance reaches level 16 without flashing Error 2. If the error persists, the resistance motor may need recalibration, and if that doesn't work, the servo motor might need replacement.

  Check the resistance level by ensuring the time is counting, then adjust the resistance and listen for the servo motor adjusting. Cycle the unit for a few minutes to see if the feel changes. Alternatively, hold down the reset button to see if the servo motor resets and adjusts. If you hear a motor sound, the servo motor is working. If you're setting up the unit, check the computer wire for pinching or disconnections. Confirm that all computer cables are connected properly. If the servo motor works, check the resistance cable to ensure it's correctly connected to the magnetic flywheel/servo motor. If the motor still doesn't change resistance, the computer or servo motor may need to be replaced.
