What to do if Lincoln 1100 will not heat?
    • T
      thorntonmarkAug 14, 2025
If your Lincoln Oven won't heat, start by checking the gas supply and ensure the manual shut-off valve is open, and the flexible gas line is properly connected. If the main fan isn't working, refer to the troubleshooting steps for 'Oven fan will not run'. Inspect the heat switch for continuity and replace it if necessary. Also, check and replace the 10 amp fuse and fuse holder if needed. Check the burner blower motor to see if it's running. For the oven cavity high limit, verify that the terminals are normally closed. If they are open, push the reset button and retest. For the burner transformer, ensure the primary is 120 VAC with a 24 VAC secondary.

Why Lincoln 1100 flame will not stay lit?
    • M
      Margaret WhiteAug 22, 2025
If the flame in your Lincoln Oven won't stay lit, make sure ignition occurs six seconds after the gas valve opens. If there is sufficient micro-amp current but the flame still won't stay lit, check for proper polarity of the 120 VAC power supply. If the polarity is correct and the flame still won't stay lit, replace the ignition control.

What to do if Lincoln Oven cooling fans continue to run after 20 minute cool down?
    • S
      Sharon JohnsonAug 25, 2025
If the cooling fans in your Lincoln Oven continue to run after the 20-minute cool-down period, check the cooling fan thermostat. It should close at 120°F± 5°F and open at 100°F± 5°F. Also, check to ensure that the contacts of the main fan relay are opening after the 20-minute cool-down.

What causes no main fan cool down in Lincoln 1100 Oven?
    • T
      Thomas FowlerAug 29, 2025
If there is no main fan cool down in your Lincoln Oven, check for 120 VAC at pin #2 and #3 of the 20 Minute Time Delay Relay Main Fan Relay while the main fan is running. When you turn off the main fan switch, 120 VAC should continue to be present for 20 minutes at terminal 2. Check if the relay is operating and terminals are remaining closed for the main fan cool down of 20 minutes. Also, 120 VAC at terminal 2 of Time Delay Relay should discontinue approximately 20 minutes after the main fan switch is switched off. If the switch is open and voltage continues at terminal 2, replace the Time Delay.

What causes no control box cooling in Lincoln Oven?
    • R
      Robert MasonSep 1, 2025
If there is no control box cooling in your Lincoln Oven, check the main circuit breakers and reset them if required. Call the power company if needed. Check the main fan switch for continuity between switch terminals. With the fan switch on, check for 120 VAC at terminal 2 of the 20 Minute Time Delay. Check the continuity of the 120 VAC coil on the main fan relay and ensure there is power to the relay coil (120 VAC). 120 VAC should now be at the fan motors. If voltage is present, check the motors for shorts or opens. With the power off, check for a locked rotor.

What causes low flame but no main flame in Lincoln 1100?
    • S
      Stacy BrooksSep 5, 2025
If your Lincoln Oven has a low flame but no main flame, check for 120 VAC at terminal #11 to neutral on the temperature control. Turn the temperature adjustment knob to the maximum temperature position and check for 120 VAC at the load terminal (#9) and neutral.

How to check thermocouple probe in Lincoln 1100 Oven?
    • S
      Sarah BrownSep 9, 2025
With the power on and the thermocouple leads attached to the temperature control board, measure the D. C. millivolt output of these leads. With the power off, remove the potentiometer leads from the temperature control board and measure ohms from black to white leads for the Temperature Control Potentiometer.

Why Lincoln 1100 Oven fan will not run?
    • W
      wheathNov 16, 2025
If the Lincoln Oven fan won't run, check the incoming power supply by resetting breakers if necessary and ensuring the power plug is firmly in the receptacle. Measure the incoming power and call the power company if needed. Check the main fan switch for continuity between switch terminals. For the 20-minute time delay, check for 120 VAC at terminal #1 to neutral on the 20-minute Time Delay Relay. If no voltage is present, trace the wiring back to the power source. If voltage is present at terminal #1, check for 120 VAC at terminal #2 to neutral. If no voltage is present and the Main Fan Switch is closed, replace the Time Delay. For the main fan relay, check for 120 VAC to the coil of the Relay; if no voltage is present, trace wiring back to the 20-minute Time Delay Relay. If voltage is pre...
