6.1.8 Electrohydraulic brake Y1
This brake is an electromagnetic brake with no current with hydraulic assistance.
The electrohydraulic brake is used as parking brake and also for emergency braking.
The hydraulic piston helps increase the brake torque according to the load on the fork arm, the hydraulic
pressure in the lifting jacks activate the piston and increase the braking.
The brake release is done by the action of the accelerator, to enable start-up on side without the truck
moving. The brake is reapplied if the accelerator is released and if the truck speed is zero.
The air gap setting must be between 0.2 mm and 0.6 mm.
