Charging the battery of the remote control transmitter
The operating time of the remote control with the transmitter in continuous operation is about
30 hours per battery charge.
If the battery is flat, the green status indicator begins to flash red, which means
approximately 10% of the transmitter's battery power remain. Immediately stop the material
feed and bring the shredder into a safe state.
The remote control must never be left unattended while it is switched on.
The remote control may never be switched on or operated unless work is to be taken
up. Improper use may lead to dangerous situations.
Never switch on the remote control or use it in enclosed spaces out of sight of the
machine or outside the machine’s operating range.
All movements of the machine and its load must be watched closely, and the observer
must always remain within the machine's operating range.
The operator must position himself or herself such that he/she has a good view of the
"machine + remote control" system.
Before taking up work using the remote control, the mechanical operation of the
(Emergency stop) buttons must be checked to ensure that they are in proper working
order.
The (Emergency stop) button must be pressed as soon as a dangerous situation arises
anywhere in the working area.
The remote control must be switched off every time work is interrupted by removing the
starting key and keeping it in a safe place.
