Although the WiFi/Router is mostly pre-configured by Maretron, there are a few steps that must
be performed to establish the connection between Maretron’s N2KView
®
vessel monitoring
and control software (client) and Maretron’s N2KServer
®
(server). If you are installing a system
similar to Figure 1 where the N2KServer
®
is running on the IPG100, then you should read
paragraphs 2, 2.1 and 2.2 (skip paragraph 2.3). If you are installing a system where
N2KServer is running on a PC then you should read paragraphs 2, 2.1 and 2.3 (skip paragraph
2.2).
