Power unit
The power unit is located in the rear of the instrument. It holds 4 x AA
alkaline batteries.
The low power warning message appears when there is enough power for
approximately twenty further breath tests (depending on conditions of
usage).
When inserting the battery pack into the
instrument, ensure that the two contacts
with the tabs attached are facing towards
the top and the rear of the instrument and
are thus in contact with the two contacts
within the battery pack compartment.
DO NOT USE RECHARGEABLE AA
BATTERIES AS THESE HAVE A LOWER
POWER CAPACITY THAN ALKALINES
AND THE INSTRUMENT MAY NOT
ACHIEVE THE STATED SPECIFICATION
