Strut Door Installation
1. Using the mounting bracket's pre-drilled holes as guides, use an appropriate-sized drill bit to drill a
pilot hole.
2. Secure the strut's bracket to the unit framing (Fig. 11) with two #8 screws.
NOTE: Screw length must be long enough to penetrate the unit's framing.

Friction Hinge Installation
Install the friction hinge as follows:
1. Secure the hinge leaf and door frame to the unit's wall with a #8 screw (Fig. 10A).
NOTE: Screw length must be long enough to penetrate the unit's wall framing.
NOTE: There will also be pre-drilled holes on the first and fifth leaf of the hinge for optional fastener
installation.
2. Optionally, repeat step 1 for the first and fifth hinge leaves on each hinge.
3. Repeat steps 1-2 on any remaining friction hinges.
