Operation
Extending the Awning
1. Release the travel locks, which will be either original (A) or current (B) style.
A. Original Travel Locks - Release the travel locks (Fig. 1B) on the support arm brackets by reaching
behind the support bracket (Fig. 1A) and squeezing the travel lock sides inward, releasing the
outer arm (Fig. 1E).
B. Current Travel Locks - Press slightly upward on the tab (Fig.2A) on the travel lock base latch (Fig.
2D) to release the travel lock body (Fig. 2B). Swing the travel lock body arm (Fig. 2C) from behind
the support bracket (Fig. 3A) to release the outer arm (Fig. 3E).

Prior to raising the Pop Top on a pop up trailer, the cam lock (Fig. 4B) MUST be in the
roll out position. Failure to do so can result in damage to the trailer.

NOTE: Other than the difference of travel locks, the
awning assemblies, Figures 1 and 3, are the
same. Call outs A, C, D, and E in Figure 1 are
the same as call outs A, C, D, and E in Figure 3.
