The following example illustrates the interaction between
the various tyre settings and how the resulting information
is relayed by the monitoring system for display in the app
NOTE: The Alert Indicator uses LED flashes and audible
(beep) tones to deliver tyre event notifications
1. Select a tyre by tapping its information button to launch
its settings window FRONT LEFT TYRE
A. In this example, the reported current tyre Pressure is
listed as “58 psi” (Fig.21)
NOTE: Stem Sensor Pressure Reading Tolerance: +/-15
psi (+/-103 kPa) For examplebecause of differences in
accuracy and conversion between a Stem Sensor and a
tyre gaugeactual tyre pressure at 38 psi (262 kPa) may
be reported by the Stem Sensor as 36 psi (2482 kPa)
while the tyre gauge may report 40 psi (2758 kPa)
B. Compare the tyre’s minimum/maximum pressure range
(46 - 68 psi) against the reported tyre pressure (58 psi)
Make sure tyre pressures are within recommended limits
C. If the Minimum Pressure Threshold requires
adjusting, tap the next arrow to launch its settings window
Scroll through the window to a desired limit and select it
(Figs.21 and 23)
D. If the Maximum Pressure Threshold requires
adjusting, tap the next arrow to launch its settings window
Scroll through the window to a desired limit and select it
(Figs.21 and 24)
E. The Maximum Temperature Threshold and the
Maximum Temperature Change can also be adjusted
(Figs.22, 25 and 26) Scroll through the window to access
the temperature adjustments
NOTE: Stem Sensor Temperature Reading Tolerance:
+/-3 °C (+/-54 °F) For example, if a Stem Sensor reports
tyre temperature at 29 °C (85 °F), actual tyre temperature
may be 32–26 °C (904–796 °F)
NOTE: Stem Sensor Working Range: 85 to -20 °C
(185 to -4 °F)
