Overview

This document provides the instruction manual for a LIVOO table barbecue grill, designed for domestic use. The manual emphasizes safety, proper operation, and maintenance to ensure user satisfaction and product longevity.

The LIVOO table barbecue grill is designed for grilling food indoors. Its primary function is to cook food using an electric heating element, providing a convenient and smoke-reduced grilling experience. The appliance is intended for household and similar applications, including staff kitchen areas, hotels, motels, and bed and breakfast environments.

Usage Features:

The grill is equipped with several features to enhance its usability and safety. Before first use, it is recommended to preheat the product at the MAX position for approximately 15 minutes. Some smoke or odor may be emitted during this initial preheating, which is normal and will decrease over time. Adequate ventilation in the room is advised during this process.

To operate the grill, first place the base on a heat-resistant surface. The reflector water tray is then inserted into the base. A crucial safety feature is the requirement to fill the grill pan with water before switching on the appliance. The water level must be kept between the 'Min.' and 'Max.' markings (0.4L and 0.9L respectively) inside the tank at all times during use. This water serves to cool down the grill pan, reduce smoke build-up, and facilitate cleaning. The appliance must never be used without water. If the water dries up during continuous use, the power plug should be unplugged, and water refilled to the MAX mark. It is important not to pour cold water over the hot heating element to avoid damage.

The heating element and temperature control box are then fitted to the grill plate, ensuring correct alignment with the safety interlock actuated. The grill features a built-in safety interlock that prevents the product from being switched on unless it has been correctly assembled.

The grill rack can be placed on the product, offering two height levels for different grilling needs. Once assembled and filled with water, the power plug can be connected to a suitable power outlet. The temperature control knob allows users to select the desired grilling temperature. A heating-up light indicates when the appliance is preheating. After approximately 5 minutes of preheating, when the light goes out, foodstuffs can be placed directly onto the grill rack. It is important not to use plates or aluminum foil to wrap food on the grill. Frozen food should be fully defrosted before grilling. Food should be turned from time to time with a spatula to ensure even cooking.

During the grilling process, the heating-up light will periodically come on and go out, indicating that the heating element is switching on and off to maintain the set temperature. After use, the appliance should be unplugged and allowed to cool down completely before handling or cleaning.

Maintenance Features:

Proper cleaning and care are essential for the longevity and safe operation of the LIVOO table barbecue grill. Before cleaning, it is imperative to unplug the product and allow it to cool down completely to avoid the risk of electric shock. Electrical parts of the product should never be immersed in water, nor should the product be held under running water.

For cleaning, it is crucial to avoid solvents, abrasive materials, hard brushes, metallic, or sharp objects, as these can damage plastic parts, scratch surfaces, and be harmful to human health.

The product should be disassembled in reverse order of the assembly steps (from 6 to 2 in the OPERATION section). All removable parts should be cleaned after each use, as dried food residue can be difficult to remove. The thermostat's surface should be cleaned with a slightly damp cloth and then thoroughly dried.

The heating element can be wiped with paper towels or a soft damp cloth. For stubborn food residues on the heating element, a little edible oil can be applied, and the residues removed after 5 minutes of exposure time. The exterior surfaces of the product should also be cleaned with a slightly damp cloth and then thoroughly dried. Care must be taken to ensure that no water enters the product interior, especially through the switch.

Once cleaned, the product should be stored in a dry, cool location, protected from moisture and direct sunlight, and kept out of reach of children. The manual specifies that the appliance is not intended to be operated by an external timer or separate remote control system. If the appliance is to be used by a third party, the instruction manual must be supplied with it. The appliance should never be carried while still hot.
