Function Description:
The Livoo Raclette Grill is a household appliance designed for grilling food and preparing raclette for two people. It features a granite plate for grilling and two frying pans that can be placed under heating sources for raclette. The device is intended for private use in household and similar applications, such as staff kitchen areas, farmhouses, hotels, motels, residential environments, and bed and breakfast type environments. Usage Features:
- Preparation before use: Before first use, the appliance should be pre-heated for 15 minutes without any food. A small smoke emission is normal during this initial pre-heating, and the room should be well aerated. Ensure the controller is in the "OFF" position before plugging in. The device must be placed on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface.
- Operation: To use, connect the appliance to the power supply and turn the switch from "OFF" to "ON" position. Pre-heat for 15 minutes. Food can be placed directly on the granite cooking plate for grilling, or in the two frying pans which are then placed under the heating sources for raclette, depending on the desired cooking method and heat requirement.
- Safety during use:
- Avoid contact with hot surfaces or heat sources.
- The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high when the appliance is operating and remains very hot after use.
- Do not cover the appliance during use.
- Do not move the appliance during use or when it is hot.
- Never cut food directly on the grill plate.
- Use a wooden or plastic spatula to handle food.
- Do not leave the two pans in the appliance if they are empty.
- The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote control system.
- Always unplug the appliance in case of malfunction, after use, or before cleaning.
- Do not leave the appliance unattended when it is plugged in or in operation.
- The socket must always remain accessible when the appliance is plugged in.
- Only connect the appliance to a socket with a built-in earth connection. If an extension cord is used, it must also have a built-in earth connection and be able to withstand the power of the appliance.
- Do not pull on the power cord or the unit itself to unplug.
- Do not let the cord hang over the table or counter or touch a hot surface.
- Never use the device outdoors or in places exposed to bad weather and humidity.
- This device is not designed to be used continuously; temporary stops are necessary.
- Children and persons with reduced capabilities: This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning safe use and understand the hazards involved. Maintenance Features:
- Cooling: Always allow the appliance to cool down completely before storing or cleaning. The appliance remains very hot after use.
- Cleaning:
- Always remove the plug from the socket before cleaning.
- Do not use wire brushes or any abrasive items or liquids for cleaning.
- Clean the accessories (frying pans) with hot soapy water.
- Use a damp cloth to clean the appliance base.
- Never immerse the appliance base in water or any other liquid.
- Do not use a dishwasher for cleaning any part of the appliance.
- It is absolutely necessary to keep this appliance clean at all times as it comes into direct contact with food.
- Storage: Ensure the appliance has completely cooled down before cleaning and storing it.
- Disposal: The European Directive 2012/19/EU on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) requires that old household electrical appliances not be disposed of in the normal household waste stream.
