Multiple
pages
are
pages
which
change
automatically
without
you
switching
over.
Multiple
pages
generally
consist
of
several
sub-pages
which,
apart
from
the
3-digit
page
number,
are
also
identified
by
a
four-digit
sub-page
number.
Holding
pages.
If
you
do
not
want
a
multiple
page
to
change,
simply
press
the
“VT:
Sub-
pages“
button
©.
The
page
number
of
the
sub-page
then
appears
instead
of
the
time
at
the
bottom
of
the
page.
If
the
page
is
to
be
allowed
to
change
again
later,
press
the
“VT:
Sub-
pages"
button
©)
again.
The
“Hold”
is
also
cancelled
by
paging
forward
or
back
or
by
calling
up
the
“VT
Summary"
page

by
pressing
@.
Recognising
and
storing
sub-pages,
You
can
easily
determine
whether
a
_
sub-page
of
a
multiple
page
is
displayed
by
simply
pressing
the
“VT:
Sub-pages‘
button
©;
if
a
four-digit
number
appears
in
the
top
right-hand
corner
of
the
header,
e.g.
0001,
then
you
are
watching
a
sub-page.
If
“OOOO
appears
as
the
sub-
page
number,
then
the
page
displayed
is
either
a
page
without
sub-pages
or
one
of
the
multiple
pages
which
are
transmitted
cyclically
without
sub-pages.
When
subpages
are
broadcast,
the
number
of
subpages
already
received
is
indicated
below
in
the
blue
field
of
the
user
guide.

to
allow
you
to
read
the
sub-
pages
in
the
correct
order,
your
set
now

sub-pages.
You
can
start
to
page
with
the
green

whilst

sub-pages

paging,
you
come
to
a
page
which
has
not
yet

stored,

arrow

all

sub-pages
have
been
found,

If
you
wish
to
call
up
a
specific
sub-
page,
enter
the
sub-page
number
with
the
numeric
keys
after
pressing
the
“VT:
Sub-pages“
button

e.g.

Exiting
from
sub-pages.
Press
the
“VT:
Sub-pages”
button

again.
The
time
appears
again
in
the
top
right-hand
corner.
Special
effects.
Increasing
character
size.
Only
one
half
of
the
picture
can
be
increased
at
a
time;
first
the
upper
half,
then
the
lower
half.
To
achieve
this
effect,
press
the
“VT:
Character
size“
button
©.
When
this
button
is
pressed
a
third
time,
the
picture
switches
back
to
the
full-page
display
with
normal
character
size.
“Revealing”
texts.
On
some
pages,
parts
of
the
text
are
“hidden,
i.e.
not
visible
initially;
these
“hidden“
texts
can
be
revealed
by
pressing
the
“VT:
Reveal“
@)
button.
Pressing
the
button
again
makes
the
text
“invisible
again“
Hidden“
texts
are
frequently
used,
e.g.
for
answers
to
quizzes
or
as
VPS
times
in
the
programme
previews
from
ARD
and
ZDF
(pages
300
and
following).
Reversing
colours,
Reversing
the
colours
is
always
to
be
recommended
when
it
produces
better
colour
contrasts,
e.g.
for
VT
mix.
Make
a
white
background
out
of
a
black
background
with
the
button
“Colour”
.
Press
button
“Colour
@)
©
to
switch
back
to
the
original
colour.
With
this
effect,
all
the
colours
change,
not
only
the
black
and
white.
