loudspeakers.
The
loudspeaker
sockets
are
to
be
found
on
the
rear
of
the
TV
set
(R
=
right-hand,
L
=
left-hand
sound
channel).
The
loudspeaker
sockets
conform
to
DIN
41
529,
If
loudspeakers
are
connected,
they
should
have
the
following
values:
at
least
4
Ohm/40
Watt.
The
loudspeaker
connectors
can
be
inserted
in
one
of
two
ways:
Depending
on
the
position
of
the
connector
pin,
the
loudspeakers
of
the
set
can
be
switched
off
or
left
functioning.
HiFi
systems
or
cassette
recorder.
The
Cinch
sockets
are
additional
sound
output
ports
of
your
TV
set
and
are
located
on
the
rear
of
the
set.
(Red
socket
=
right-hand
sound
channel;
white
socket
=
left-hand
sound
channel.)
The
sound
signals
can
be
output
either
controlled
or
uncontrolled.
Connect
the
Cinch
sockets
of
your
TV
set
to
the
input
ports
of
the
amplifier
(AUX
port),
You
can
then
transmit
the
TV
sound
via
your
HiFi
stereo
system.
With
the
sound
setting
“controlled,
the
volume
of
the
TV
sound
can
be
controlled
with
the
remote
control
unit
of
the
TV
set.
The
setting
“uncontrolled
is
best
used
for
recording
the
TV
sound
with
a
cassette
recorder.

you

only

the
two
sound
channels
(languages,
stereo
sound
in
mono)
output
to
the
Cinch
sockets
(this
applies
also
to
the
EURO
AV
socket):

Video
recorders
and
camcorders.
In
principle,
any
video
recorder
can
be
connected
to
your
set.
As
you
can
well
imagine,
Loewe
video
recorders
combine
extremely
well
with
TV
sets
from
the
same
company.
This
also
has
the
advantage
that
the
most
important
functions
of
the
TV
set
can
be
controlled
with
the
remote
control
unit
of
the
video
recorder.
You
can,
as
usual,
play
back
video
via
the
antenna
socket
of
your
set
(programme
00).
In
addition,
your
new
set
has
two
EURO-AV
sockets;
use
of
these
sockets
offers
you
a
number
of
advantages:
@
Better
picture
quality
during
playback,
@
Playback
of
stereo
sound
or
choice
of
languages.
@
You
can
connect
two
video
recorders
or
other
equipment
with
picture
and
sound
outputs
to
the
set
without
having
to
replug.
@
A
concealed
Loewe
video
recorder,
e.g.
installed
in
a
cabinet,
can
be
controlled
via
the
TV
set.
@
Picture
and
sound
signals
can
be
transmitted
to
the
video
recorder
for
recording.
@
You
can
also
play
back
from
S-VHS
video
recorders
or
feed
in
RGB
signals
(RGB
are
the
colour
signals
red,
green
and
blue
which
are
output
by
some
TV
video
games,
computers,
teletext
and
interactive
videotex
decoders)
via
the
EURO-AV
socket;
for
further
details,
refer
also
to
the
following
sections.
Connecting
via
the
antenna
socket.
By
making
the
connection
between
antenna
and
TV
set
via
the
video
recorder,
it
is
possible
to
make
timed
recordings
with
the
video
recorder
or
to
record
with
the
video
recorder
whilst
watching
another
programme.
Plug
the
antenna
connector
of
your
antenna
system
into
the
antenna
input
socket
of
the
video
recorder.
Connect
the
antenna
output
port
to
the
antenna
socket
of
the
TV
set
with
a
second
antenna
cable.
