When selecting the AV input, a signal
type must also be specified. To select
the signal type, move the yellow cursor
bar with the yellow arrow buttons @
to “Signal. Using the © or © buttons,
you can now set:
For EURO-AV socket 1:
VTR == Playback from video recorder
with switching voltage
Ext = Playback of video signal
(FBAS) with switching voltage
VTR! = Playback from video recorder
without switching voltage
Ext! = Playback of a video signal
(FBAS) without switching
voltage
SVHS! = Playback from an S-VHS
video recorder
RGB! = Playback from interactive
videotex decoder or from a
computer without switching
voltage.
For EURO-AV socket 2, RGB!
cannot be set.
For the front socket S-Terminal,
only the signals VTR!, Ext! and SVHS!
can be set.
Note:
Programme memory locations at which
the options VTR!, Ext!, SVHS! and RGB!
are stored cannot be used for TV
reception.
For camcorders common in other
countries, you may have to switch over
the TV standard, e.g. in France to
PAL-L.

To store the selected functions, move
the blue cursor bar to “Storage’’ using
the blue_cursor button @. Now press
button ®). Return to TV mode by
pressing the @) button.
Your TV set has a special video
input socket (S-Terminal) and two sound
input sockets (Audio L = left, R = right)
on the control unit of the set. These
sockets can be used for playback from
a video recorder, a S-VHS camcorder or
a S-VHS video recorder. A special
connecting lead (Loewe Order No.
169-84836) for these sockets is
available from your dealer.
Language selection on stereo video
recorders,
Do you have one of the modern video
recorders which can record and play
back two sound channels? If so, then
your TV set will allow you to select
during stereo broadcasts between sound
channel 1 and sound channel 2 for the
loudspeakers and for the headphones:
When playing back via the EURO-AV
sockets, press the “Sound function“
button twice; display: Stereo; for
programmes recorded in two-channel
sound, select Sound_1 or Sound 2 using
the buttons CO @ ©.
The language for the headphones
is selected in the normal manner after
pressing the “Mute“ button by
pressing the “Sound function“ button ©
and selecting the language using the
buttons © 2 ©.
