Using Your Camera
Camera Operating Modes
QuickCam
®
Traveler
has two modes of operation:
DSC
(digital still camera)
and
PC-cam
. Using either mode turns the camera on. Only the Off, or middle position
turns the camera completely off.
DSC Mode
Use
DSC
mode for taking pictures
away
from your computer. Use the camera’s view
finder to frame your subject. QuickCam Traveler stores up to 240 images in low
resolution and 60 images in high resolution. All shots are stored in flash memory.
On the side of the camera, move the three-position mode switch to the
down
position
(towards the camera icon), which corresponds to
DSC
mode.

to your computer to download images.
With SmartClip

nearly anywhere.
Just hook your camera to your flat

To create natural eye-to-eye contact
while chatting live or making a video
e-mail, position QuickCam

Traveler
on your monitor in a convenient location.
Attach the swivel base to the camera,
then plug in the USB cable to connect
the camera to your computer.
