Port 4 / RS-232
The RS-232 port is used to program the Audio Engine by connecting to a
computer through its serial port. Port 4 is also the main point used by broadcast
automation to control the Audio Engine. This port operates at 38.4 Kbps, 8 data
bits, 1 stop bit and even parity. The cable uses a male connector at the Audio
Engine and a female connector at the computer. Wire pin 2 to pin 2, pin 3 to pin
3 and pin 5 to pin 5.
