1.9 Apply RTV & conformal coat
Conformal coating : Humiseal conformal coating 1B31.
Thinner for Humiseal 1B31.
Sealant : Dow Corning 3140 Non corrosive RTV sealant.
Non-acid cure RTV is required.
Procedure:
1. Apply RTV to the crystal C3, C4 and the top of U1 as shown.
2. Allow to dry for 8 hours before proceeding to next step.
3. Using the dispensing robot, conformal coat over the RTV’d crystal, C3, C4, top of U1. Also, apply 2
passes of conformal coat over the ADC circuit in different directions to fully cover the tantalum
capacitors.
