What to do if my LONCIN 1P61FA will not start?
- DDominique YoungAug 6, 2025
If your LONCIN Engine won't start, first, ensure the choke is closed unless the engine is warm, in that case it should be open. Next, check that the engine switch is turned to the 'ON' position. Make sure you have enough fuel. If the fuel is old or bad, drain the fuel tank and carburetor, then refuel with fresh gasoline. Inspect the spark plugs; gap or replace them if they are faulty, fouled, or improperly gapped. If the spark plugs are wet with fuel, dry and reinstall them, then start the engine with the control lever in the FAST position. Finally, if the fuel filter is clogged, or there's a carburetor, ignition, or valve malfunction, replace or repair the faulty components as needed.
