Why is my Lopi Parlor Wood stove not burning hot enough?
    • G
      Gina CookJul 26, 2025
If your Lopi Wood stove isn't burning hot enough, a common cause is wet wood. You can check the section "Selecting Wood" on page 21 for more details. Also, ensure that the air control is fully open and not stuck by sliding it back and forth. Insufficient draft can also cause this issue; adding more pipe or a draft-inducing cap may help.

What to do if smoke enters the room while reloading my Lopi Parlor?
    • P
      pnelsonAug 2, 2025
If smoke enters the room while reloading your Lopi Wood stove, it could be due to insufficient draft. Adding more pipe or a draft-inducing cap may help. Ensure you open the air control before opening the door. Let the air stabilize before fully opening the door. Then open the door approximately 1 inch. Let air go into the firebox for a few seconds. Once the smoke appears to be flowing up the chimney consistently, open the door completely.

How to stop smoke from entering the room during Lopi Parlor Wood stove start-up?
    • B
      Brittney ThomasAug 8, 2025
If smoke enters the room during the start-up of your Lopi Wood stove, it could be due to a cold air blockage. Try burning a piece of newspaper to establish a draft. Also, open the air control. If the flame is not getting enough air, a small crack in the door is all that is needed.

Why isn't the blower on my Lopi Parlor running?
    • C
      Chloe ShortAug 14, 2025
If the blower on your Lopi Wood stove isn't running, it might be normal if the stove hasn't reached its operating temperature yet; it usually takes 15 to 30 minutes. If the stove is hot and the blower still isn't running, check the household breaker or fuse to ensure it's working.

What to do if kindling doesn't start and the fire smolders in my Lopi Parlor Wood stove?
    • K
      Kelly ObrienAug 20, 2025
If the kindling in your Lopi Wood stove isn't starting and the fire is smoldering, open the air control. You can also use additional newspaper if necessary. If the flame is not getting enough air, a small crack in the door is all that is needed.
