What to do if the abnormal pilot light is on in my LOTOS LTP5000D?
    • P
      Patricia LawsonJul 27, 2025
If the abnormal pilot light is on, it might indicate that over-current protection has been activated. You can either wait 2 to 3 minutes for the issue to resolve itself, or you can turn off the power, wait for the abnormal pilot light to switch off, and then restart the LOTOS Welding System. The machine should recover automatically.

Why is my LOTOS LTP5000D Welding System not cutting metal properly, or why is the arc unstable?
    • C
      charles37Aug 2, 2025
If your LOTOS Welding System does not cut metal properly or the arc is unstable, it could be due to: * Low input voltage. * Poorly connected ground cable. * Air pressure being too high or too low. * The nozzle and electrode of the torch not fitting well, or the input current being too low.

What to do if the abnormal pilot light is off and there is no cutting voltage output in my LOTOS LTP5000D?
    • T
      Tracey HillAug 8, 2025
If the abnormal pilot light is off and there's no cutting voltage output from your LOTOS Welding System, check the following: * The welding cable may be broken. * The ground may not be properly connected to the workpiece. * The “+” output terminal may not be properly connected.

Why is the fan not working and there is no voltage on my LOTOS LTP5000D?
    • D
      David MaddenAug 14, 2025
If the power switch is on but the fan isn't working and no voltage is indicated, it could be due to several reasons: * Improper connection to the plug or the plug is improperly connected to the 380V power supply, causing over-voltage protection. Wait for 8 minutes, reconnect to 220V power supply, and restart the machine. * The transformer may be broken. * Voltage deficiency protection might be activated. * The wire from the switch to the bottom board may have loosened: tighten it. * The relay on the bottom board might be damaged: replace it with a new one.

Why is there no power, fan, or voltage output in my LOTOS LTP5000D Welding System?
    • C
      Casey JacobsSep 12, 2025
If the power pilot light is off, the fan isn’t working, and there is no cutting voltage output in your LOTOS Welding System, it could be due to: * A broken power switch. * Lack of electrical power. * A short-circuited input cable.
