Always wear OSHA-approved safety glasses during assembly for protection.

Second Tier Screen and Wall Assembly

Screen Installation

Cut and apply screen to the inside of the Second Tier panels with staples.

Wall Panel Assembly

Stand up wall panels and attach them together using screws, ensuring flush tops.

Gusset Installation

Install gussets with rough sawn cedar side down using screws into pre-drilled holes.

Second Tier Ridge Assembly

10' Gazebo Ridge Layout

Layout center rafter support and spacers, install center blocks with pre-drilled holes facing down.

12' Gazebo Ridge Layout

Layout center rafter support and spacers, install hollow center blocks with screws.

14' Gazebo Ridge Layout

Layout center rafter support and spacers, install hollow center blocks with screws.

Second Tier Erecting Rafters

10' Gazebo Rafter Erection

Assemble 10' rafters to Ridge Block using screws, then turn over and attach screws from Ridge Block into Rafter.

12' & 14' Gazebo Rafter Erection

Assemble 12'/14' rafters to Ridge Block Assembly using screws, leaving a 1/2" gap.

Second Tier Rafter Assembly Continued

Rafter Layout and Attachment

Attach rafters to Ridge assembly and gussets using screws, adjusting wall corners as needed.

Rafter and Ridge Block Placement

Lift Rafter/Ridge Block assembly onto Gussets, place rafter ends on outside corner of Gusset, and attach with screws.

Second Tier Rafter Assembly Continued

Ridge Cap Installation (12' & 14')

For 12' and 14' gazebos, attach Ridge Cap to top of Ridge Block with screws.

Roof Finial Block Installation

Add Roof Finial Block to top using screws, utilizing pre-drilled holes to prevent splitting.

Second Tier Placement and Fastening

Place Second Tier on Gazebo, align seams, fasten into roof with screws, and staple screen.

Assembling Second Tier Roof Continued

Roof Panel Installation

Mark rafters, set roof panels, temporarily nail, then permanently nail panels to rafters.

Fascia and Fascia Trim Installation

Mark rafters, center fascia on wall panels, butt to roof panels, attach with nails, then add fascia trim.

Installing Drip Edge, Shingles, Metal Cap and Spindle

Drip Edge and Shingle Installation

Install drip edge, then a starter course of shingles, cut excess, and continue shingling.

Ridge Cap Creation and Installation

Cut shingles into six pieces, angle top third, install over seams with nails to create ridge caps.

Metal Roof Cap and Finial Installation

Place Metal Roof Cap on top of shingled Second Tier and install Roof Finials.
