Overview

This document describes the Lucell safe, available in models MC-020 and MC-040, designed for secure storage with various access and security features.

Function Description:

The Lucell safe is a secure storage device that can be opened using a passcode or fingerprint. It features an internal LED light for visibility, an alarm system for enhanced security, and locking bolts to secure the door. The MC-040 model also includes an internal shelf for organized storage. The safe is designed to be firmly fixed to the ground for stability and security.

Important Technical Specifications:

  • Models: MC-020, MC-040 (MC-040 includes a shelf)
  • Passcode: 4-20 digits, settable for one or two users. Initial code: 123456.
  • Fingerprint Recognition: Maximum 10 fingerprints can be registered.
  • Power Source (Internal): 4 x 1.5V AA Alkaline batteries.
  • Power Source (External/Emergency): USB Type-C port for temporary power using a portable battery pack (4 x AA Alkaline batteries).
  • Alarm System: 120dB alarm, activated by strong external impact or tilting of the safe. Armed 10 seconds after activation. Includes a light detecting sensor that turns off the alarm when the door is open.
  • Alarm Power Source: 3 x 1.5V AAA Alkaline batteries.
  • Certifications: KOREA CERTIFICATION, KOREA STANDARD, SWEDEN, ISO9001, ISO14001.

Usage Features:

  • Opening the Safe:
    1. Press START.
    2. Enter the passcode (initial code: 123456).
    3. Press START.
    4. Pull the door open.
  • Setting Passcode (2 User Mode):
    1. Open the door.
    2. Press the "S" button on the backside of the door.
    3. "CodE" will display, then "USEr_".
    4. For User 1: Press '1', then press START. Enter new 4-20 digit passcode, then press START. "AgAin" will display. Enter new passcode again, then press START. "USEr 1" will display, confirming the new passcode is set.
    5. For User 2: Press '2', then press START. Enter new 4-20 digit passcode, then press START. "AgAin" will display. Enter new passcode again, then press START. "USEr 2" will display, confirming the new passcode is set.
  • Setting Passcode (1 User Mode):
    1. Open the door.
    2. Press the "S" button on the backside of the door.
    3. "CodE" will display.
    4. Enter new 4-20 digit passcode, then press START. "AgAin" will display. Enter new passcode again, then press START. "USEr 1" will display, confirming the new passcode is set.
  • Registering Fingerprint:
    1. Open the door.
    2. Press the "S" button on the backside of the door for 3 seconds.
    3. "SEt" will display.
    4. Press the "S" button again shortly.
    5. "FingEr" will display.
    6. Press '0' to register fingerprint.
    7. Scan fingerprint 2 times. (Maximum 10 fingerprints can be registered).
  • Deleting Fingerprint:
    1. Open the door.
    2. Press the "S" button on the backside of the door for 3 seconds.
    3. "SEt" will display.
    4. Press the "S" button once again shortly.
    5. "FingEr" will display.
    6. Press '1' to delete fingerprint.
    7. Enter the ID number of the fingerprint to delete. (Press "S" button to delete all fingerprints at once).
  • Alarm Control:
    1. Use the "ON/OFF" switch on the alarm to control it.
    2. The alarm is armed 10 seconds after turning on the switch.
    3. The alarm will turn off when the door is open due to a light detecting sensor.
  • Keypad Lock Mode:
    • Activate: Press START for more than 10 seconds until "Act" appears. Any input on the keypad will only display "Act".
    • Deactivate: Press START for more than 3 seconds until "dEAct" appears.
  • Security Mode (Hide Passcode Display): Press START button twice to hide the passcode display during entry.
  • Volume Control:
    1. Open the door.
    2. Press the "S" button on the backside of the door for 3 seconds.
    3. "SEt" will display.
    4. Press the "S" button again twice shortly.
    5. "VoL" will display.
    6. Press '0' ~ '7' to choose the volume level.
    7. Press START.

Maintenance Features:

  • Replacing Batteries (Internal):
    • Replace immediately when the screen displays "Lo_bAt", the safe door fails to open with "OPEn" message after passcode entry, "good" appears with "beep beep" sound after passcode entry but the door doesn't open, the screen fails to turn on after pressing START, touch buttons are unclear, or there is no response/malfunction.
    • Use 4 x 1.5V ALKALINE batteries (AA x 4).
    • Confirm proper insertion by checking for "good" message and beep sound.
    • After replacement, confirm the safe is working properly before closing the door.
  • Emergency Power (USB Type-C Port):
    • If internal batteries are depleted, install 4 x AA Alkaline batteries into a portable battery pack.
    • Insert the USB Type-C cable into the port to provide temporary power to open the door.
    • Replace internal 4 x AA batteries immediately after opening.
  • Troubleshooting:
    • No response when START button pressed: Possible causes include battery discharge, incorrect battery insertion, Keypad Lock mode ON, or circuit error. Measures include replacing batteries, confirming correct insertion, deactivating Keypad Lock mode (press START for 3 seconds), or contacting a service center.
    • Alarm continues ringing and safe does not work: Caused by 5 times wrong passcode input. Enter correct passcode or wait 3 minutes until the alarm stops.
    • "Err-03" message appears: Caused by incorrect passcode. Enter correct passcode.
    • Cannot change passcode: Caused by exceeding time limit when changing passcode, keypad malfunction, or button error. Enter passcode within 5 seconds or contact a service center.
    • "Lo_bAt" message appears: Indicates low battery. Replace batteries with new ones, preferably Alkaline.
    • "Act" message appears: Indicates Keypad Lock mode is ON. Press START button for 3 seconds to deactivate Keypad Lock mode.
    • Forgot passcode: Contact a service center.
