This chapter describes the operation of the FlowSight
®
System using the INSPIRE
™
for FlowSight Software. Daily oper-
ation involves an initialization of the system and calibration using the Calibration bead reagent, followed by sample runs
and data acquisition, and finally a shutdown procedure which sterilizes the system and prepares for the instrument for
use the following day. Optimizing instrument setup for sample runs is also described in this chapter.
