4 Commissioning
4.2.2 Serial commis-
sioning with
D
RIVEMANAGER
Prerequisite:
All inverter modules are fully connected.
The first drive is already fully commissioned.
A PC with installed D
RIVEMANAGER user software (V2.3 or higher) is
connected.
For additional information refer to the DRIVEMANAGER HELP.
Step Action Comments
1
Connect your PC to the inverter
module of the first drive and switch
on the power to the inverter.
Use a standard serial cable (9-pin
D-SUB, pin-and-socket) e.g. LUST
accessory CCD-SUB90x .

START DriveManager.
Automatically connects to the linked
inverter module.
If the connection fails, check the settings in the Tools > Options menu and
try again by clicking on the icon .

Save the current data set by clicking
on the icon ,
either in the parameter database
(directory: c:/../userdata) of the
D
RIVEMANAGER or to a floppy disk
(a:/).
Clicking on the icon always saves the
current data set of the connected
device.
Assign the file a name of your choice.

Connect your PC to the inverter module of the next drive and switch on the
power to the inverter.

Click on the icon to connect
between the D
RIVEMANAGER and the
now connected device.

Click on the icon to load the
data set saved in step 4 into the
device.
The data set is filed in the device as
user data set 1.

Back-up the setting in subject area
_15FC with parameter 150 -SAVE
Repeat steps 4 ... 7 on each additional drive.

into the device
Remember to
save the set-
ting.
Call up subject area
_15FC
Select parameter
150-SAVE
Set parameter to
START and confirm
