13. Type XL-50 and Type XL-60
Leaveadistanceofaround50-70mm(13a)betweentheoperatingblindandthecassette
bracketforthecoupledblind.Installthesecondsystemwithoutrollerblindandfrontofthe
cassette.Todothis,firstremovetheendcaps.Placeascrewdriverbehindthefrontoftheend
cap,givethescrewdriveraquarterturn(13b)andslidetheendcapforward.Repeatthisonthe
otherside.
ForTypeXL-60firstremovethelowestcoverprofilebymovingthisinthedirectionofthe
arrow(13c).Removetheprofilefromthelip.ForTypeXL-50andTypeXL-60thenremove
thefrontcoverprofile.Pressthefrontcoverprofileupwards(13d)andthenclickthebottom
outof the cassetteholder. Nowremove the rollerblind. Placeascrewdriver betweenthe
installationbracketandthebearingplug.Pressthebearingpluginwards(13e).
Alternatively:pressthebearingpluginfromtheoutsideoftheinstallationbracket.Remove
therollerblinddownwards.
Thenfitthesecondsystemwithoutcoverprofileandrollerblind.Forthedustcover,theremustbe
anopeningof2mmbetweentheendcapofthefirstandthebracketofthesecondcassette(13f).
Slidethealignmentwasherthroughtheholeinthebracketonthesideofthebearingplug(10a).
Tightenthealignmentwasheragainstthebracket.Slidethehollowtubeplugofthesecondblind
overthealignmentwasher(10b).Pressthebearingplugin,slidethisovertheinstallationbracket
untilyouheara‘click’andtherollerblindisinstalled.Seepoint14foraligningthebottomrail.
Thenfitthecoverprofiles.Fitthetopoftheprofileasfarasitwillgoonthebracket(7a)
andthenpressonthefrontuntilitclicksintothebracket.ForTypeXL-60thebottomprofile
stillhastobefastened.Hooktheprofileintothelipofthecassetteandthenpressthisupwards
untilyouheara‘click’(13g).Thenfitthedustcoversasdescribedaboveinpoint7.
14. Aligning coupled roller blinds
Toalignthebottomrail,presstherollerblindinthedirectionofthebearingplug(14a).The
teethofthealignmentwasherbecomevisible(1).Rotatetherolleruntilthebottomrailsare
hangingequally(2).Thentightentherollerblindbyturningthedialagainsttheendofthebearing
plug(14b).
DISMANTLING
15. Removing the roller blind Type XL-10
Toremovetherollerblind,pressinthebearingplugusingascrewdriver(13e).Toremovethe
operatingsidefromtheinstallationbracket,pullontheinternalpinoftheoperationusinga
screwdriveroryourfingernail(15).
Alternatively:firstremovethedustcoversfromtheinstallationbracket.Thenremovetheoperating
sidebypressingtheexternalbuttonin.
16. Removing the roller blind Type XL-20
Placeascrewdriverbetweentheclipandthemountingprofileandpresstoreleasethebottomof
theprofilefromtheclip(16).
17. Removing the roller blind Type XL-30 and Type XL-40
Slidetheendcapfromthebracket(13b).Pressthebottomoftheprofileupandtaketheprofile
outofthebrackets(13d).Toremovetherollerblind,pressinthebearingplugusingascrewdriver
(13e).Toremovetheoperatingsidefromtheinstallationbracket,pullontheinternalpinofthe
operationusingascrewdriveroryourfingernail(15).
Alternatively:removetheoperationbypressingtheexternalbuttonin.
18. Removing the roller blind from the cassette Type XL-50 and Type XL-60
Firstremovetheendcaps.Placeascrewdriverbehindthefrontoftheendcap,givethescrewdriver
aquarterturnandslidetheendcapforward(13b).Repeatthisontheotherside.ForTypeXL-
60,firstremovethebottomcoverprofilebyturningitinthedirectionofthearrow.Removethe
profilefromthelip.
ThenforTypeXL-50andTypeXL-60removethefrontcoverprofile.Pressthefrontcoverprofile
upwards(13d)andthenclickthebottomoutofthecassetteholder.Removetherollerblind.
Placeascrewdriverbetweentheinstallationbracketandthebearingplug.Pressthebearingplug
inwards(13e).
Alternatively:pressthebearingpluginfromtheoutsideoftheinstallationbracket.Pulltheroller
blinddownwards.
Toremovetheoperationoftheinstallationbracket,pullontheinternalpinoftheoperationusing
ascrewdriveroryourfingernail(15).
Alternatively:removetheoperatingsidebypressingtheexternalbuttonin.
19. Removing the cassette Type XL-50 and Type XL-60
Slideascrewdriverbetweentheinstallationbracketandthecassette.Givethescrewdrivera
quarterturnandremovethecassette(19).
