GETTING STARTED
• Always operate , inspect and maintain this tool in accordan
ce with all regulations (local , state , federal and country)
that may apply to hand-held / hand-operated pneumatic
tools
• Be sure all hoses and fittings are the correct size and are
tightly secured
• Always use clean, dry air at 90psig maxi mum air pressure.
Dust , corrosive fumes and /or excessive moisture can ruin
the motor of an air tool
• The use of a hose whip is recommended. A coupler
connected directly to the air inlet increases tool bulk and
decreases tool maneuverabi Iity
• For maximum performance, the coupler on the wall should
be the next size larger than the coupler used on the tool.
The coupler closest to the tool should not be less than the
proper air supply hose size
Forward/reverse and speed control
The forward/reverse and speed control knob determines the
direction of the tool and also serves as the variable speed
control. To select forward rotation, depress the side button on
the right side of the tool as shown. To select reverse, depress the
side button on the left side of the tool asshown.
GLOSSARY OF TERMS
PSI: Pounds per square inch; a unit of measure ofpressure.
Bar: A metric unit of measure ofpressure. One bar = 100kPa
PSIG: Pounds per square inch gauge
kPa: Kilopascal, 1000N/square meter

Variable speed trigger
• Be careful when using pneumatic tools as the tool could
become cold, affecting grip andcontrol.
• Gloves can become entangled with the rotating drive,
causing severed or brokenfingers.
• Rotating drive sockets and drive extensions can easily
entangle rubber-coated or metal-reinforcedgloves.
• Hold the tool correctly; be ready to counteract normal or
sudden movements and have both handsavailable.
• Maintain a balanced body position and securefooting.
• Do not use in confined spaces and beware of crushing
hands between tool and workpiece, especially
whenunscrewing.
• Use only accessories recommended by MACTools.
Forward
Reverse
Forward rotation can be adjusted for variable speed by turning
the button from low to high. For maximum forward torque,
turn knob until the indicator line matches with ‘+’ symbol. For
low forward torque turn knob until the indicator line matches
‘-‘symbol.
