1. Lift the lid of the bean container.
2. Feed the beans into the container.
3. Close the lid.
Tip: If you store the remaining beans well-sealed in a cool place, they will
stay fresh and preserve their flavor for a longer period of time.
Note: Your NEVIS is preprogrammed in such a way that
intensively roasted beans should be fed in to the left
grinder and mildly roasted beans go into the right
grinder. You can always change this default setting
using the menu.
When using NEVIS for the first time, it may take up to two grinding
operations until the beans reveal their full aroma.
Filling the water tank/Insertion of AquaViva Water

Note: Fill the tank with fresh and cold (between 4° and 20°C)
still (no gas) water on a daily basis. Make sure the tank
is filled up to the water level mark.
As soon as you plug in the appliance, it will switch on automatically and
rinsing will start in the brewing unit. At the same time, the software
system and the preprogrammed beverage choices will start loading (as will
be seen on the screen).
