HANDLING
DRIVING INSTRUCTIONS
Operating Manual MT 25 / 30 YT 105
Driving with rear axle differential lock
The rear axle differential lock locks the MT's rear axle to pre-
vent free-spinning of one of the wheels on slippery ground.
DANGER!
Accident hazard!
The MT is less responsive to steering movements when
the rear axle differential lock is engaged.
Driving around obstacles is more difficult.
X Drive with adjusted speed when the rear axle
differential lock is engaged.
X Note that the steering radius is greater.
The driver can use the switch any time. However,
the rear axle differential lock may only be switched
on when the MT is stationary.
The rear axle differential lock stays engaged as long as you
hold the “rear axle differential lock” button down,
see “Rear axle differential lock” on page 62.
Towing
Tow the MT only in case of an emergency. It is not possible to
clutch start the motor.
You can find information on towing in chapter “SELF-HELP”.
