Vehicle electrical system
Main battery switch
The main battery switch is located on the outside of the pneu-
matics and battery compartment. It breaks the electrical
connection to the vehicle battery.
CAUTION!
Material damages!
Turning off the main battery switch can damage the
generator, the electrical equipment and the controllers.
X Do not turn off the main battery switch while the
motor is running.

Turn the main battery switch horizontally.
3 The electrical connection is made.
X Turn the main battery switch vertically.
3 The electrical connection is interrupted.
Switch the main battery switch to “OFF” when you park
the MT for a longer duration. This prevents the vehicle
battery from possibly discharging.
