Driving instructions
Parking
The MT cannot be secured against rolling away by putting it in
gear.
Make sure you apply the parking brake when leaving the MT.
WARNING!
Danger of injury!
A parked MT can roll away when the parking brake
breaks down and injure persons.
X Additionally secure the MT with blocks.
If the MT is to be shut down for a longer period, then the main
battery switch has to be switched to “OFF” to prevent the bat-
tery from discharging.
Checks before driving
Carry out the following checks before you start driving the MT.
z Make sure that no persons are situated in the danger area
of the MT.
DANGER!
Danger of injury!
People can be severely injured by being crushed during
shunting.
X Always make sure that there is nobody between the
MT and trailer when coupling.
X Always keep eye contact with guiding personnel.
X Never let the trailer run onto the MT.
X The MT must always be coupled to the stationary
trailer.
