Reading the engine error codes <QSB 6.7>
In the event of an engine problem, the engine controller dis-
plays error codes in the form of flash sequences. You can read
the error codes with the “Diagnostics on/off” and “Diagnostics
selection” switches.
You don't need the diagnostic function in normal mode,
t is only for reading error codes when engine problems occur.

Reading error codes
If there is an engine problem, one of the warning lights go on.
If you read the error codes, the engine has to be turned off and
the ignition key has to be in the I position.
X Turn the ignition key to position 0.
3 The engine and the ignition are turned off.
X Turn the ignition key to position I.
3 The ignition is switched on.
X Press the “Diagnostics on/off” switch 2 to ON.
3 The error reading is activated.
X Scroll the “Diagnostics selection” rocker switch 1
ack and forth.
3 You receive the error codes:
z No engine malfunction,
if the yellow and red warning lights are constantly on.
z Engine malfunction present,
if the yellow and red warning lights are on shortly and then
the yellow warning light flashes and the red warning light
sends out flashing codes.
