• Rubber Cover: The rubber cover needs to be removed and cleaned to allow the counterweight to move freely.
• Plastic Spacers: These are critical components that must always be between the vibrator and the blade, tightened to 85 to 100 Lbs.-Ft. torque. Replacement spacers are available from Magic Screed dealers.
• Housing Shaft Improvement: Recent improvements include a modified drive shaft (#20003-5050) and a new seal (#50008) in the housing shaft to prevent water ingress during cleaning, particularly for models HD7070, HD7171, HD6060, and HD6161. Replacement housing shafts now come with the seal and circlip pre-installed.
