Battery: Place the fully charged battery on the mounting plate and lock it in
place. Make sure all the connectors are clean of any concrete or water. Tighten
the connectors manually.

Handles: Adjust the handles to suit the comfort of the operator. Make sure that
the throttle control is clean and rolls freely.
Turn the key to the ignition position.
Your screed is designed to work on wet concrete, never vibrate for long periods of
time if the screed is not on wet concrete. To prevent damage, never use the screed
on other materials.
Always control the amount of vibration needed for the type and slump of concrete
you level. Too much vibration can damage your screed.
Before servicing or cleaning your screed, remove the battery from the screed. Do
not pressure wash.
