Do not expose to rain; keep work area well lit and free of flammable liquids.
Before further use, check guards or damaged parts for proper operation and function.
Repairs should only be carried out by qualified persons using original spare parts.
To reduce risk of injury, charge only MAKITA type rechargeable batteries.
Take charger or battery cartridge to a qualified serviceman for service or repair.
Do not charge battery cartridge when temperature is below 10°C or above 40°C.
Do not touch terminals with conductive material or store with metal objects.
Do not incinerate the battery cartridge, even if damaged, as it can explode.
DO NOT TOUCH ANY METAL PARTS when drilling near live electrical wires.
Charge the battery cartridge before it is completely discharged.
Never recharge a fully charged battery cartridge; overcharging shortens service life.
Charge the battery cartridge with room temperature at 10°C ~ 40°C. Let hot batteries cool.
Make indentation with center-punch for metal. Use cutting lubricant, except for iron/brass.
When driving wood screws, predrill pilot holes to make driving easier and prevent splitting.
