  There are several reasons why your Makita Blower engine might not be starting: * The primer pump may not have been operated correctly; push it 7 to 10 times. * The starter rope may not have been pulled strongly enough; pull it more forcefully. * There might be a lack of fuel; add fuel. * The fuel filter could be clogged; clean it. * The fuel tube might be broken; straighten it. * The fuel might be deteriorated; replace it with new fuel (recommended replacement: 1 month). * There may be excessive suction of fuel; set throttle lever from medium speed to high speed, and pull starter handle until engine starts.
