Replacing the suction head
Thefeltlter(16) of the suction head can become clogged.
It is recommended to replace the suction head once every
threemonthsinordertoensureunimpededfuelowtothe
carburetor.
To remove the suction head for replacement, pull it out
throughthetankllerneckusingapieceofwirebentatone
end to form a hook.

Replacing/cleaning the spark arrester screen
The spark arrester screen should be checked and cleaned
regularly.
Unscrew 3 screws (11) and remove the upper half of the
mufer(12) and then the spark arrester screen (14).
Caution: Do not use sharp or pointed objects for screen
cleaning. Damaged or misformed screen wires may result.
Reassemblethesparkarresterscreenandtheuppermufer
half, and then tighten the screws.
Cleaning the air lter compartment/fan
compartment
Remove cover.
Remove the fan housing.
CAUTION: To prevent eye injury, always wear eye
protection when cleaning the lter with compressed air!
The entire area (15) can now be brushed clean or cleaned
with compressed air.
