What to do if my Makita EA3501S Chainsaw starts, but dies immediately?
- Mmichael31Aug 30, 2025
If your Makita Chainsaw starts but immediately dies, the idling might be wrongly adjusted, or the suction head or carburetor could be dirty. Adjust the idling and clean the suction head and carburetor. Also, the tank venting might be defective, the fuel line interrupted, the cable defective, or the combination switch defective. Check for proper tank venting and inspect the fuel line and cables.
