What to do if Makita Saw engine stops soon after starting?
- NNicholas MosesAug 27, 2025
If your Makita Saw engine stops soon after starting, or the engine speed doesn't increase, it might be due to insufficient warm-up; perform a warm-up operation. Also, ensure the choke lever is set to “ON” once the engine is warmed up. A clogged fuel filter or a contaminated air cleaner can also cause these issues; clean them. For abnormal carburetor or drive system make request for inspection and maintenance.
