If the engine of your Makita Lawn and Garden Equipment stops soon after starting, it could be due to: * Insufficient warm-up. Perform a warm-up operation. * The choke lever being set to “CLOSE” when the engine is warmed up. Set it to “OPEN.” * A clogged fuel filter. Clean the filter. * A contaminated or clogged air cleaner. Clean the air cleaner.
