Loosen the lever to adjust base, then tighten securely for desired cutting depth.
Loosen clamping screw, tilt base for desired angle (0°-45°), then tighten securely.
Align the 0° or 45° position on the base with your cutting line for straight or bevel cuts.
Check switch function, use lock-off button to start, never defeat lock-off mechanism.
Ensure blade teeth point up. Use Makita wrench to install or remove blade.
Store the hex wrench properly to prevent loss.
Move tool forward smoothly, keep it flat, use front grip and rear handle firmly.
Clean guards of sawdust to ensure proper operation, use compressed air.
Never use gasoline, thinner, or alcohol for cleaning.
