What to do if Hi Amps light is on in my Manitowoc Ice Maker?
    • R
      russomadelineAug 2, 2025
If the Manitowoc ice machine stops, the Hi Amps & Service lights turn on, the control board will start a delay. The ice machine will restart after a 60-minute delay if the amperage stays below 3.8 amps for six hours. If the gear motor amperage exceeds 3.8 amps a second time within six hours, you must press the control board reset button to restart the ice machine.

Why is the Lo Water light on my Manitowoc RNS0244 and no ice is being produced?
    • M
      Mr. Michael WelchAug 13, 2025
If your Manitowoc ice machine stops and the Lo Water & Service lights are on, it means the control board has stopped the ice machine and energized the Lo Water & Service lights, leaving the water solenoid energized. The ice machine will resume ice making when water contacts the low water probe. This can be due to no water, low water pressure, or a defective solenoid valve or control board relay.

      Janice FarrellAug 23, 2025
If the Manitowoc ice machine stops and the 20M light is on, the PWR, WTR, and BE lights will remain on. The ice machine will restart after 20 minutes. If the restart is successful and the operation is normal, the 20M light will turn off and the 60M light will turn on. After 60 minutes of normal operation, the 60M light will turn off. If the restart is unsuccessful or the operation is abnormal, the 60M light will turn off and the 2ND light will turn on. In this case, you must press the reset button on the control board to restart the ice machine.
