Check for shorted transistors and open fuses.
Check line cord, fuse, and open rectifiers.
Check filter capacitors.
Check filter capacitors C703, C704, C707, C708, C715, C716.
Connect VTVM and adjust R733/R734 for 10mV.
Connect VTVM and adjust R711/R712 for 0mV (±5mV).
Connect voltmeter to J810/J811 and adjust R807 for 40 VDC.
Refer to Table 1 for required test equipment.
Make test setup, check connections, connect amplifier output and shorting plugs.
Check hum and noise levels with volume control at minimum and maximum.
Measure maximum power output using audio oscillator and distortion analyzer.
Measure harmonic distortion at different frequencies (20 KHz, 1 KHz, 20 Hz).
