  If the Marantz CD Player's remote control isn't working, try these steps: * Make sure you're within the remote's operating range and move closer to the unit. * Remove anything blocking the path between the remote and the CD Player. * Replace the remote's batteries with new ones. * Ensure that strong light isn't shining on the unit's sensor window. * Check that the switch on the back of the remote is set to INTERNAL when using the unit independently.
