the

signal drives Q802 and relay L802 via Q703 and
R802.
d. When the contacts of L802 are closed, the AC power
is supplied to main transformer T001 and AC outlet
J004.

the AC outlet rated at a max. load of 400W.
f. The AC power is supplied to the main power circuit
through the main transformer. This circuit is used to
drive the capstan motor, solenoids and amplifier.
When L802 is activated, the capstan motor starts
running and the amplifier is set to the stand-by mode.
The motor speed and the voltages at all points are
stabilized after about 4 seconds, then the PLAY
signal (and REC signal) are output from the micro-
computer so that the tape deck is set to the PLAY
mode (or REC/PLAY mode).

When the POWER switch is ON, the AC power is sup-
plied to the main power circuit and the external de-
vices (AC outlet).

timer and the operating conditions are explained.
