The
output
terminals
have
positive

polarity,

each
speaker

When

speakers,
be
sure
to
connect
the
terminals

selector

to
the
position
for
100
kHz/FM
and
10kHz/AM,
the
receiving
band
changes
as
follows.
FM
band:
87.5
MHz
to
108
MHz,
in
100
kHz
steps.
AM
band:
520
kHz
to
1710
kHz,
in
10
KHz
steps.

THE
UNIT

TURNED

BEFORE
CHANGING
THE
SCAN
STEP
SELECTOR
SWITCH
POSITION.

DE-EMPHASIS
SWITCH
(SR-63/01
only)
The
SR-63/01
models
are
equipped
with
switchable
de-
emphasis.
The
de-emphasis
switch
works
in
conjunction
with
the
scan-step
selector
switch.
The
de-emphasis
is
set
to
50
ws
when
delivered
from
the
factory.

two
pairs
of
loudspeakers,

OUTLETS

By
connecting
these
outlets
to
the
power
plugs
of
up
to
two
components
such
as
a
CD
player,
tape
deck
and/or
VCR
set
(the
audio
outputs
of
which
are
connected
to
this
unit)
and
by
leaving
their
power
switches
set
to
ON,
the
components’
power
will
be
switched
ON/OFF
in
conjunction
with
the
POWER
switch
of
this
unit.
The
total
power
consumption
of
the
connected
components
should
not
exceed
50
W
(SR-63/02)
or
100
W
(SR-
63/01).
The
fuse
provided
is
solely
for
the
AC
OUTLETS
(SR-63/02
only).
