FOLDING SEATS
(Driver's side only)

Reclining type front seats (if equipped)
The front seats can be reclined. To recline
the seatback, pull up the lever on the in-
board side of the seat, move the seatback
to the desired position, and release the
lever to lock the seatback in place.

2nd row fixed seat (if equipped)
This seat is fixed firmly and cannot be
folded.

3rd row fixed seat (if equipped)
This seat is fixed firmly and cannot be
folded.
CAUTION
If you need to replace the fuel cap,
use only a cap specified for your
model. Using an improper fuel cap
can cause a serious malfunction of
the fuel system. You can get the cor-
rect replacement cap from your
Maruti Suzuki authorised workshop.
EXAMPLE
WARNING
Never drive the vehicle with the seats
folded fully back. Seatbacks should
always be in a fairly upright position
when driving, or seat belt effective-
ness may be reduced. Seat belts are
designed to offer maximum protec-
tion when seatbacks are in the fully
upright position.

When returning a rear seat to the nor-
mal position, make sure that move-
ment of the seatback is unobstructed
and the seatback is securely latched.
WARNING
Luggage or other cargo should be
stowed in the luggage compartment
with the rear seat in an upright posi-
tion, whenever possible. If you need
to carry cargo in the passenger com-
partment with the rear seat back
folded forward, be sure to secure the
cargo or it may be thrown about,
causing injury. Never pile cargo
higher than the seatbacks.
