8-14 Periodic Maintenance and Adjustment
1. O-ring
6. Install the new oil filter cartridge with an
oil filter wrench, and then tighten it to the
specified torque with a torque wrench.
Tightening torque:
Oil filter cartridge:
12 ft·lbs (17Nm 1.7m·kgf)
1. Oil filler cartridge 2. Torque bolt
7. Install the engine oil drain bolt, and then
tighten it to the specified torque.
Tightening torque:
Engine oil drain bolt:
17 ft·lbs (24Nm 2.4m·kgf)
8. Add the specified amount of
recommended engine oil, and then install
the engine oil filler cap and tighten it.
